For When I Am Gone is a life planning tool that enables members to record information in order to give peace of mind to relatives or anyone who would likely be in charge of the member’s funeral and personal affairs following their passing.
Ambitious start-ups trust our advice
A series of initial discovery sessions were the starting point for this exciting project. With this new business idea the challenge at first was to take the idea and translate business logic into a workable online platform that members - who underpin the business - would use and keep using.
By the end of the discovery sessions we had developed a series of user stories which described the functionality required. An interactive prototype was then created to test these user stories and ensure that we were all satisfied before proceeding to develop the full platform.
The project involved providing full consultancy services, covering design, branding, domain acquisition, payment processing integration and security considerations.
Building your idea
The platform was built using Joomla Content Management System. Our experienced developers then coded a custom component on top of the CMS to meet the unique requirements. This includes a custom user manager where all the information collected in member’s accounts is stored, integration with Worldpay payment platform for taking online payments for their various packages, a discount coupon manager and advertising integrations.
By developing this site using a CMS, For When I Am Gone have full control over managing the administration of the system, from user management to website content.
