Citymax is a premium hotel group that offers mid-market hospitality to business and leisure travellers worldwide.
Citymax wanted to refresh the design of their Drupal website with a more contemporary look. Their marketing agency, 80 Days, came to Web Foundry for advice on redeveloping the hotel's web templates and enhancing the site's functionality.
They needed a number of front-end updates to improve the user experience and back-end changes to make it easier for the hotel to manage their own content.
A collaborative process involving Slack, Trello and Google Docs enabled us to seamlessly implement the new template. Along with a series of UX benefits, we added simplified updating tools and meta tag editing so that the client has full control over their SEO.
Collaborative tools to improve communication
Project management with Trello
The whole team had access to Trello and could edit the board at any time. The app kept anyone who was away from their desk updated with new developments.
Slack for internal communication
Slack enabled instant messaging and stopped important messages getting stuck in email in-boxes.
Google Docs for real time authoring
Google Docs helped us to streamline our processes. Everyone knew which document version most recent and was notified of any new comments.
