Web Foundry Lands in Chicago

Web Foundry staff enjoyed 5 days in the windy city to participate in this year's Joomla! Expo. Delegates from all over the world gathered at the city's Marriot O'Hare Renniasance Hotel to hear expert seminars on security, online marketing, web usability and of course, on the latest developments on the Joomla framework.

"It was an inspiring time, meeting up with new friends as well as existing business associates to exchange views and experiences and of course to enjoy a beer or two and chill out. What was most fascinating was the common shared passion for the Joomla! CMS and the exciting ways in which the newly released version 1.5 is adding unbelievable control for client users.

With over 350 people gathered into the various meeting rooms there was hardly any time to catch your breath. Only a day for sightseeing could be fitted into the schedule, but after four days or work we all headed back to the UK with wallets more bursting than when we left - cards from the new friends and associates we met"
